We collect as little as a membership site can: the email you use to sign in, and payment metadata handled by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).

What we store

• Email address, membership status, and comments you post.
• Stripe customer and subscription identifiers for paid members.
• Standard server logs (IP, user agent) for security and uptime.

Why

To run the journal: magic-link sign-in, access to lookbooks, billing, and abuse prevention. We do not sell your email list.

Processors

Ghost (this site), Stripe (payments), and Apple iCloud SMTP (transactional mail such as magic links). See their own privacy notices for how they handle data.

Your rights

Email [email protected] to export or delete your member account. Cancelling a paid plan does not automatically delete the email record until you ask.
